Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, avocado


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the salsa and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese and let it melt, about 1-2 minutes.
