Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the rolled oats until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten the tops slightly with a spoon.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add 1/4 cup of chocolate chips or chopped walnuts.
