Description
Make these Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers for your next gathering. They are a simple, spicy, and incredibly satisfying party snack that everyone will love.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 slices bacon, halved
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the seeds and membranes. Wear gloves when handling if you have sensitive skin.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. This is your filling.
- Spoon or pipe the cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño half. Gently press the filling down.
- Wrap one half-slice of bacon around each filled jalapeño half, securing it tightly.
- Place the poppers seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy this crowd-pleaser!
Notes
- For easier handling, you can use a small spoon or a piping bag with a large round tip to fill the jalapeños.
- If you prefer a less spicy popper, briefly blanch the jalapeño halves in boiling water for one minute before stuffing.
- Drain excess grease from the baking sheet halfway through cooking for crispier bacon.
