- 12 large jalapeño peppers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes. Wear gloves for this step if you have sensitive skin.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Spoon the cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño half.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a half-slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
