Description

Make this simple, seasonal Apple Cider Moscow Mule cocktail in under five minutes. It is perfect for fall gatherings and Thanksgiving.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 4 oz apple cider (not hard cider)
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: thin apple slice and cinnamon stick


Instructions

  1. Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the vodka, apple cider, and fresh lime juice to the glass.
  3. Top the mixture with ginger beer.
  4. Gently stir the drink once or twice to combine the ingredients without losing carbonation.
  5. Garnish the rim with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

  • For a pitcher serving 8 people, combine 16 oz vodka, 32 oz apple cider, 32 oz ginger beer, and 4 oz lime juice in a large container. Stir well and chill. Add ice and top with ginger beer just before serving.
  • Substitute vodka with bourbon for an Apple Cider Kentucky Mule variation.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka and increase the apple cider slightly.
  • If you prefer a spicier drink, use a spicier ginger beer.
