Description
Make crispy, healthy kale chips right in your air fryer. This recipe delivers a satisfying crunch perfect for a light snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch kale (about 4 cups torn leaves)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Wash and thoroughly dry the kale leaves. Tear the leaves from the tough stems.
- In a large bowl, toss the dry kale with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder until lightly coated.
- Place the kale in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do this in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 8 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Watch closely near the end as they can burn fast.
- Remove when the chips are crisp. Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the kale is completely dry before oiling; moisture prevents crisping.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best results.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste preference.
