Description
Make crispy, flavorful green beans quickly using your air fryer with a coating of garlic and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry the green beans. Patting them dry helps them crisp up.
- Place the trimmed green beans in a medium bowl.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the beans and toss to coat evenly.
- Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the bowl and toss again until the beans are lightly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Remove the basket from the air fryer. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot beans and toss gently until the cheese melts slightly and adheres to the beans.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in two batches if your fryer is small.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the salt and pepper for a little heat.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and melting quality.
