Description

Make crispy, flavorful green beans quickly using your air fryer with a coating of garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the green beans. Patting them dry helps them crisp up.
  2. Place the trimmed green beans in a medium bowl.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the beans and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the bowl and toss again until the beans are lightly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
  6. Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  7. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  8. Remove the basket from the air fryer. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot beans and toss gently until the cheese melts slightly and adheres to the beans.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in two batches if your fryer is small.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the salt and pepper for a little heat.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and melting quality.
