Description
Cook tender, flavorful lobster tails quickly using your air fryer with a simple garlic butter coating.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (4-6 oz) lobster tails, thawed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the lobster tails by using kitchen shears to cut down the top shell lengthwise, stopping before the tail fan. Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the prepared lobster tails in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, depending on the size of your tails, until the meat is opaque and firm.
- Remove the tails from the air fryer, drizzle with any remaining butter from the pan, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Thaw frozen lobster tails completely in the refrigerator overnight before cooking for best results.
- If your lobster tails are very large (over 6 oz each), you may need to add 1 to 2 minutes to the cooking time.
- For a richer flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the garlic butter mixture.
