  • 1.5 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Soak the cubed potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes. Drain them completely and pat them very dry with paper towels. This step helps achieve crispiness.
  2. In a bowl, toss the dry potatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer if possible; work in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd the basket.
  5. Air fry for 15 minutes. Shake the basket well.
  6. Continue to air fry for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  7. Serve immediately for breakfast.
