Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and dice the pears, then mix with half of the brown sugar and a pinch of salt, and spread in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt. Add cubed butter and blend until crumbly. Optionally, fold in chopped nuts.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the prepared pears.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the pears are bubbly.
